Summary
Wendy Connor inherits Oakwood Inn from her estranged Aunt Margaret. There are a few catches in the last will and testament, that include her having to get married and produce an heir, but Randolph the butler and caretaker of the Inn assures her that everything will work out just fine.
Wendy soon learns that Oakwood Inn has some strange powers in it seems to draw the hurt and needy people to it's doors. She soon learns why Oakwood Inn is special and her Aunt Margaret never left.
Summary
Wendy learns she has co-inherited the beautiful Oakwood Inn with her missing Uncle William. For her to remain, her Aunt Margaret placed some stipulations. She must marry and produce a Carrington heir within five years. Randolph, the family butler, then informs her that a feud that started years before between the Carringtons and the Cassidys is still going on, and she must be careful, just as the handsome Luke Cassidy has caught her eye.
